My most helpful peer review was my personal narrative. This piece was a good stress reliever because I was able to write about something very personal to me but something that other go through as well. I went into specific details and I didn't hold anything back from how I was feeling. I wanted to make it so that others could relate if they read it. I know i like to be able to relate to some essays because it makes the reader a little more interested than usual. In my first draft, I did not have a lot of big errors. They were only small and very easy to fix because most were just spelling and grammar errors. Then in my next draft, my peer went a little deeper into editing and gave me a few suggestions for my paper. She gave me good feedback as well as better ways to word certain sentences. When it was time for my final draft, I fixed up all my errors and mistakes and put in my peer's suggestions on making my paper sound better. In my final draft, there were some errors that I made just by typing them up, but most of the errors that were marked by my teacher were grammar, spelling, and word choice. The actual structure of the essay was in good shape. I chose this paper as my most helpful peer edit because my peer really helped me a lot in fixing up this essay to make it more presentable. It is always good to have another set of eyes look at your paper before even thinking about turning it in for good. I know it has helped me every single time.
